Abstract

l It has been estimated that from 25 to 50% of all patients treated by the or-thopedist have as a presenting complaint lumbago with or without sciatica. Back-ache, as head-ache, may result from a variety of conditions.
It is essential, therefore, to establish an accurate pathologic diagnosis and treat it accurately. The purpose of this paper is to report a brief review of lumbago conditions.
